The Annual ASEAN Conference on Climate Change (ACCC)

Achieving climate justice requires addressing multiple forms of equity, including intra-generational justice, inter-generational justice and North-South justice. For developing nations, particularly in the ASEAN region, the path forward is to integrate human rights into climate action, build robust monitoring and reporting systems, develop credible carbon markets, and ensure social equity is central to energy transitions. This is how climate justice can transition from a concept to a tangible reality. In this context, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law aims to pursue research and interdisciplinary academic cooperation to promote sustainable development and combat climate change in the ASEAN region as well as globally.
