In the time of globalisation, publishing and disseminating research findings in international academic journals have become increasingly important. Such publications provide an important avenue for Vietnamese research to gain greater attention from the international academic community, while also contributing to the enhancement of the quality of scientific research in Vietnam. At the same time, the renewal and updating of teaching methodologies have become increasingly important, particularly as Vietnam is gradually welcoming a growing number of international students.

In response to the practical needs of faculty members and individuals engaged in teaching and research at educational and research institutions both in Vietnam and abroad, the Faculty of International Law, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law will organize a Training Workshop on Teaching Methodologies and International Academic Publishing in International Law.

The Training Workshop will feature leading experts in the field of international law, including:

- Prof. Dr. Arie Afriansyah – Professor, Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia; Editor-in-Chief, Indonesian Journal of International Law.
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Thuy Duong – Dean, Faculty of International Law, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law.

-Dr. Kate McKenzie, Executive Editor-in-Chief of Carbon & Climate Law Review (CCLR).

The invited experts have extensive teaching experience at leading universities in the region and around the world, including the National University of Singapore, Queensland University of Technology, Chiang Mai University, the University of Indonesia, and Ho Chi Minh City University of Law. They also have substantial research experience and have published articles in a wide range of reputable international law journals. Notably, the Training Workshop will also feature experts who serve as editors of leading law journals indexed in Scopus, a widely recognised indexing database used to assess the academic standing and visibility of international journals.

The Training Workshop is expected to attract the broad participation of colleagues from Vietnam and abroad, as well as students and postgraduate students from law schools and legal education institutions both domestically and internationally.
